Positive Thinking and Your Subconscious Mind
Positive thinking can have a huge influence on your subconscious mind and ultimately, your life.
Your subconscious mind is always thinking thoughts whether you realize it or not.
It has all kinds of thoughts and if you’re not careful you could be filling your mind with negative thoughts which have now become a habit or a regular way of thinking. Chances are you don’t really know if your habit of thinking is positive or negative.

To get rid of a negative thinking habit you need to completely retrain your brain with positive thinking.

What does positive thinking mean?

Positive thinking is really about filling your mind with positive thoughts.

It’s a mental attitude.

Positive thinking involves thoughts, but it also involves positive images, feelings, all of which influence your behavior.

Positive thinking sort of acts like faith.

Faith involves believing without seeing something and positive thinking involves believing all will be well no matter what situation you are in.

It’s making a decision to be optimistic and look for the silver lining in your life instead of worrying and doubting.

What is the subconscious mind?

The subconscious mind is very important because it shapes and creates your life based on your conscious thoughts and beliefs.

If it is plagued with thoughts of fear, doubt, worry, anger, and negativity, your subconscious mind will drive you to make choices and do things that will have a negative impact on your life.

To get fill your subconscious with positive energy and positive beliefs you have to start by having positive thoughts and training your mind to be positive.

A simple way to do this is to use positive self-talk or affirmations.

Think and speak positive words repeatedly, because your subconscious will pick up on your new positive thoughts.

You might have a negative mindset because of a traumatic situation. To develop a positive mindset you need to retrain your brain – so that you become more positive and have positive beliefs.

The law of attraction and positive thinking

There is a law that is in operation in the universe called The Law of Attraction. This law asserts that like attracts like.

If you think negative thoughts, you’ll attract more negative thoughts and negative situations in your life.

Likewise, if you think positive thoughts, you will attract more positive thoughts and positive situations into your life.

It’s like you send out a boomerang with your thoughts and that boomerang gathers other thoughts and come whirling back to you. That being the case, you want your thoughts to be positive.

If you feel like you have a habit of thinking negatively, take some time to focus on what is going on in your mind. Track your thoughts.

Meditation helps quiet and monitor what’s going on in your mind and subconscious mind.

As you meditate, you might notice negative thoughts surface. As you do, acknowledge the thought and then let it go.
Once you’ve let go of your attachment to it, mentally assent to a positive thought to replace the negative.

Continue to do this as you monitor your thought life.

Your subconscious mind is important, so be sure to surround yourself with positive people, music, and entertainment.

The more positive things you are surrounded by, the more likely it is that you will engage in positive thinking and in the process, get your subconscious mind to create more positive situations.
